Some people say, "I am more afraid of 100 sheep led by a lion rather than a 100 lions led by a sheep"
I beg to differ man... I think if a sheep can lead 100 lions without being eaten alive it must be some kind of special sheep!
Anyway, this post is probably not going to make sense to most of you...

Home alone again...
I'm home alone. Parents have gone overseas. So now I have 2 cars at home, but I have need to drive to school. Oh well...
Lots of laundry to do the next few days, especially at the rate I'm using up my shirts.

Here we go again!
Well, the new school term has begun and practicum has really begun in earnest for me. Previously, it has been pretty slack. I am still trying to recover from whatever bug I contracted during Chinese New Year, not funny at all.
This term is a short one, only about 6 weeks of instruction followed by exams. Furthermore there are things like Good Friday and Easter! As well as school events that are going to knock some days of my calendar. Well, it is going to be intense.

logarithms....
This is the result of trying to figure out what was wrong with my powerpoint animations.
Considerably simpler than trying to figure out what was wrong in the first place. I need a mac...

9496 days
Well, I turn 26 today; the 8th of March! Suposed to be teaching my very first mathematics class today, would have been a really nice birthday present, but I've lost my voice! Not due to shouting at students but from eating too many Chinese New Year goodies.
But anyway, it is my birthday! But unlike my previous birthday posts in 2005 and 2006, I'm not going to complain about my age. Instead, I'm going to say that I feel youthful today! What that means, well it is up to your intepretation. But yes, I don't have that same depressing "I'm old" feeling today, instead I feel quite rejuvenated albeit I'm feeling quite sick.
Anyway... it is my brother's birthday as well! So happy birthday Marvin!
Yes, we DO have the same birthday, seems like no one believes, we are twins... just two years apart.

It's already March...
It's already March... I'm turning 26 next week. Makes you wonder what a lot about time.
Had a bizzare dream the other night, dreamt that 2 good friends of mine gave me invitations to their wedding. One I was quite happy (and relieved) to receive, the other... well... let's just say I didn't take the news nicely and I ended waking up from my sleep. What was really weird were some of the dates that I saw on the wedding invitations, it was so clear that I can actually remember them. Only one date had meaning to me though. Well... that's really bizzare.
Next week I finally start proper teaching, time to get a move on in life. This week was a good week, I'm still coughing really badly, but I'm sure that God will heal me just in time for Monday's early morning lesson.

interesting question...
Stef posed the following question to me:
In an exceptionally long corridor of a building, there are one thousand windows along one wall. Coincidentally, there are exactly one thousand window cleaners in the building. They've been ordered such that the first cleaner is to open the blinds on every window. Then, the second cleaner is to close the blinds on every second window. Then the third cleaner is told to go to every third window, and close the blinds if they are open, and open the blinds if they are closed. The fourth cleaner does this for every fourth window, and so on.
After all 1000 cleaners complete the process, how many blinds are open?
Interesting question! Thanks Stef. I believe the answer is 31. How I got it... well... I'm still trying to refine my answer.
I can't seem to find the solution (or even the question on the net for that matter) so I can't really verify. Anyway... those of you who like I challenge... have fun. It's not that difficult to solve... once you have the right approach.
