40-day challenge (day 1)

Well, for those of you who have taken up the 40-day One Camp challenge, I hope you will really stick to it, and write down your thoughts. Like what Pastor Norman said, find someone to hold you accountable throughout this 40-day period.

For myself, I will attempt to blog all 40-days, let you all know my thoughts and what the Lord has been saying to me. Here it goes:

Day 1 - After ONE
This is what Pastor Norman said on the last day of camp. I will elaborate.

You may feel depressed
I read some of your blogs and most of you are saying that you are already missing camp. Why are you all feeling that way? Parents? Siblings? No band in the morning to wake you up? I know how that feels, been there many times myself.

Remember what the speaker said, God is always there. Jesus has already died for us! And that is the greatest reason to celebrate anywhere and everyday! The Word has already been given, God presence is always with the Word, the Bible. It cannot be taken away.

On the final night of camp we sang "All Day" and there is a line that goes "I will read my Bible and Pray, I will follow you all day." I hope all of you mean what you sing and really read the Bible and pray everyday.

Follow the 40-day challenge and read the Gospels. In fact, you don't have to read Mark as the booklet recommends, you can read any of them, but read them and try to understand what Jesus did for us on the cross.

The Supreme Sacrifice should be cause for celebration not depression.
