verses read: Acts 18: 18-28, Proverbs 8:11
prayer: 5 minutes

This passage concludes Paul's second missionary journey and sets up his third. He leaves Corinth and goes back to Antioch, visiting a few church along the way and making a visit to Jerusalem. Apollos is also introduced, and we read about him more in the next passage.

Read "My utmost for His highest" as well. Very interesting passage today. All the "ifs" and it was about obedience. God doesn't demand it. But more than a lot of things, God wants us to obey. And obedience, well, is not easy. More often than not, that involves doing something that we don't really want to do. But I'm learning to do that with joy in my heart! Its like what pastor said the other day, "God does not give us the jobs we are fit for, He fits us for the jobs He gives us." That way, we have to learn to rely on Him, rather than ourselves.
