verses read: Acts 1:1-11
The LG is finally starting off this Friday. And since we are studying the book of Acts, I thought I start reading this Bible Reading with the Book of Acts as well. These 11 verses contain one of Jesus' last instructions. He tell His apostles to wait in Jeruselem till they were empowered from on high by the Holy Spirit.
And once they receive the Holy Spirit, they were to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. That is the primary purpose of the Holy Spirit. I guess this whole part also fits in nicely to what was discussed over the weekend and the direction to head for next year.
