verses read: Acts 17:10-15, Proverbs 4:18
prayer: 20 minutes

The company are forced out of Thessalonica and they come to Berea. The first thing they do is to go and preach the Gospel. They were just so focused on spreading the Word! The Bereans were more receptive and many believed. But once again, Paul was forced to leave the city, and he went to Athens. But Silas and Timothy stayed behind. Interesting to note that Athens and Berea are quite a distance apart; you cannot really gather that by just reading the passage, you have to look at a map, then you will know how far Paul had to flee. Must have been really hard to do so.

Yesterday was an up and down day. There were some bright moments, there were some dark moments. Lost my pencil box... again! This is the second time this year. Oh well... thanks to me losing it earlier (and finding it again) I have a full spare set of stationery stashed somewhere, so don't have to spend money to replace again. Had LG yesterday, brings the lessons learnt in Acts to a more personal level. And the study begins with a hard topic! But one that cannot be ignored! And that is the person of the Holy Spirit, and His centrality in the book of Acts.
